AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 93 -10 FISCAL YEAR 1994 BUDGET
ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL DAY CARE ASSISTANCE GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Community and Regional affairs has
appropriated additional funds to the Kodiak Island Borough for Fiscal
Year 1994, and the Kodiak Island Borough is now in receipt of Grant
Amendment Numbers 2, 3 and 4; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has made available an additional amount of $59,780
to be utilized for the Child Care Assistance Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This Ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly accepts the grant amounts as set
forth in the Agreement, and directs staff to complete the necessary
forms and accounting to manage such funds.
Section 3: The fiscal year 1994 budget is hereby amended by increasing the Day
Care Assistance subsidy and administrative revenue, and by increasing
administrative and program subsidy expenditures accordingly in the
amount of $59,780.
