ACCEPTING STATE GRANT FUNDS FOR
WOMENS BAY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT PURCHASES
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources has awarded an
equipment grant to the Kodiak Island Borough under Public Law 95 -313
as evidenced by Funds Condition Statement Acknowledgement; and
WHEREAS, $3,312 has been awarded for this purpose, of which the state share
totals $3,312, and local matching share to be contributed is the same
amount; and
WHEREAS, the funds will be utilized to purchase equipment and supplies as follows:
portable radios, boots, coveralls, and a floating pump;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This Ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2:
ATTEST:
The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly accepts the grant funds in the total
amount of $3,312, and directs staff to complete the necessary forms
and accounting to manage such funds.
