AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE CITY OF LARSEN BAY POWER
TO ADOPT AND ENFORCE REGULATIONS PROTECTING THE MUNICIPAL
WATERSHED AREA WHICH LIES OUTSIDE THE TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LARSEN BAY
the City of Larsen Bay will regulate the use of City watershed by
controlling access to and use of the land which might be detrimental to
the water quality of the municipal water system, and;
the municipal watershed lies outside the territorial limits of the City of
Larsen Bay, and;
under Alaska Statute 29.35.020 B, the Borough Assembly may, by
ordinance, grant the City of Larsen Bay the right to adopt and enforce
regulations for the protection of municipal water system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH:
Section I. This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.

Section 3. This area comprises a total of 4,360 acres.

Section 2. The City of Larsen Bay is granted the power to adopt and enforce
regulations protecting that portion of the municipal water supply and
watershed that lies outside the territorial limits of the City of Larsen Bay.
These lands are generally described as:
