AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 91 -08 FY92 BUDGET
(GRANTING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE KODIAK ISLAND
MENTAL HEALTH CENTER)

The Kodiak Island Mental Health Center is primarily funded by State
Grants; and
The State of Alaska has not funded the Kodiak Island Mental Health
Center at a maintenance level; and
The Kodiak Island Mental Health Center provides a needed health service
for the residents of the Kodiak Island Borough.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
The Kodiak Island Borough will transfer an additional $ 150,000 from the
General Fund to the Kodiak Island Mental Health Center.
Line item 100- 000 - 389 -100, Use of Fund Balance, will be increased
$ 150,000.
