AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 91 -08 FY92 BUDGET
(COASTAL MANAGEMENT GRANT RECEIPT)
the Kodiak Island Borough wishes to provide for coastal management
planning in the community; and
the Kodiak Island Borough Community Development Department submitted
a grant application requesting continuing funding assistance for
implementation of the Kodiak Island Borough Coastal Management
Program; and
the funding request has been approved by the State of Alaska Department
of Community and Regional Affairs in an amount of $26,000; and
these funds will be used for routine implementation of the Kodiak Island
Borough Coastal Management Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to negotiate, execute, and administer any
and all documents and contracts required to obtain the funds. The Mayor
is further authorized to manage the funds on behalf of the Kodiak Island
Borough, including the execution of any subsequent amendments to the
grant contract to allow for adjustments to the project within the scope of
services or tasks specified in the grant.
