ORDINANCE N0. 39 -34 -0
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.02, COMPREHENSIVE PLAN,
OF THE BOROUGH CODE INCORPORATING THE OLD HARBOR
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has responsibility for land
use planning through out the Borough; and
IiHEREAS, the community of Old Harbor in conjunction with
borough staff has prepared a land use plan for the City of OW Harbor; and
l'1HEREAS, after extensive public participation in the preparation of
the plan, a formal public hearing before the Old Harbor City Council on
September 23, 1989, and a formal public hearing before the Kodiak Island
Borough Planning and Zoning Commission on October 18, 1989, the City of
Old Harbor and the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission
have recommended adoption of the plan by the Assembly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that:
Section 1. The document entitled "Old Harbor, City of Three
Saints, Comprehensive Plan and Capital Improvements Progra, Public Hearing
Draft June, 1989," is hereby adopted and incorporated into the Kodiak Island
Borough Comprehensive Plan.
Section 2. That Chapter 17.02, Comprehensive Plan of the B )ugh
Code, is hereby amended by adding the following:
17.02.030 Comprehensive Plan. For the purpose of this Title, the
Kodiak Island Borough Comprehensive Plan consists of the following adopted
documents:
P. Old Harbor, City of Three Saints, Comprehensive Plan and
Capital Improvements Program, Public Hearing Draft June 1989.

Section 3. This ordinance shall he in full force and effect upon
passage and adoption.
