AN ORDINANCE REZONING PORTIONS OF U.S. SURVEY 1682
AND WOODLAND ACRES ALASKA SUBDIVISION FROM RR1 --
RURAL RESIDENTIAL ONE TO RR- -RURAL RESIDENTIAL
The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly hereby ordains that:
Section 1. Classification. This ordinance is not of general
applicaion and shall not be codified.
Section 2. Tracts A -1 and A -2, Tract A, U. S. Survey 1682; Lots
1 throughThCTTIct A, U. S. Survey 1682; Lot 3, Block 1, Woodland Acres
Subdivision; Lots 1 through 7 and 17 through 19, Woodland Acres 1st
Addition; Lots 1 through 7, Block 1, Woodland Acres 2nd Addition; Lots 1
through 8, Block 2, Woodland Acres 2nd Addition; Lots 1 through 6, Block 3,
Woodland Acres 2nd Addition are rezoned from RR1- -Rural Residential One
to RR- -Rural Residential.

Section 3. The official zoning map shall be updated to reflect this
Section 4. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a lot which
is not less than 20,000 square feet in area nor Tess than 80 feet in width
shall be a lawful lot in the Rural Residential zone if the lot owner files an
application for an abbreviated plat in accordance with KIB 16.30 or a
preliminary plat in accordance with KIB 16.40, whichever is applicable, with
the Community Development Department to subdivide the lot into two or more
lots each of which is not less than 20,000 square feet in area nor less than 80
feet in width on or before March 28, 1990.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
passage and adoption.
