AN ORDINANCE INCREASING FUNDING FOR OIL SPILL CLEAN -UP
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly adopted Ordinance
No. 89 -15 -0, on May 18, 1989, to establish proper accounts to facilitate the
receipt and disbursement of funds in regard to the Exxon oil spill; and
WHEREAS, to date the oil spill related clean -up expenditures have
exceeded one million dollars and continue to escalate and the amount of
further expenditures are not definitive at this time:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that staff is hereby authorized and directed to effect the following
project level changes in the 1990 budget:
