AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES
AND REGULATIONS BY REVISING THE SALARY SCHEDULE
range has become almost impossible; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough salaries have slid down within
the State of Alaska to well below the statewide average for similar positions in
other municipalities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that:
Section 1. This ordinance is of a permanent nature and shall
become a parthe KIB Personnel Rules and Regulations.
Section 2. The Schedule of Pay Grades shall be revised by adding
$500 per year to salary range 7.0 step A and revising all steps at 2 -1/2$
increments for the entire salary schedule.

,revised for four years; and
WHEREAS, hiring new staff at Step A of the designated salary
