AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSE :LY
REVISING SECTION 17.21.050, BUSINESS DISTRICT
AS IT RELATES TO OUTDOOR STORAGE _ -
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly ha- received a
large number of negative comments about the way outdo orage is
,regulated in the business district; and

WHEREAS, the citizens of the Kodiak Island B•. rough have been
making a conscious effort to clean up the communit d
WHEREAS, the community has been acti� encouraging the
expansion of the tourism industry; and //
WHEREAS, a cleaner community is a 14 thier place to live, as well
as a more attractive place to visit;
NOW, THEREFORE the Kodiak Isl4id Borough Assembly hereby
'ordains that: (J/
Section 1. This ordinance is general and permanent nature
become a part of the Code �of .finances of the Kodiak Island
Section 2. Section 17.21.05 ' D) is amended by adding:
1. Open storage of materals and equipment is prohibited in
