1985-31 Amending KIBC Titles 2, 4, and 8AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AMENDING KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH CODE SECTIONS 2.16.130, 2.28.020, 4.40.090, 8.08.030 and
8.08.050.
WHEREAS, it is necessary that changes be made in Chapters 2.16, 2.28,
4.40 and 8.08 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code as set out in this ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that Kodiak Island Borough Code Sections 2.16.130, 2.28.020, 4.40.090, 8.08.030
and 8.08.050 be revised as follows:
Section 1:
2.16.130 Order of business -- Agenda.

2.28.020 Definitions.
F. City Manager. "City manager" means the person appointed by the
city of Kodiak city council to the administrative position of bereegh city
manager.
4.40.099 Payment. C. Within thirty days of enactment of the resolution
confirming and levying assessments, the borough elerk finance officer shall
mail a statement to the owner of record of each property assessed. The state-
ment shall designate the property, the assessment amount, the time payments
are due, and the penalties for past due payments.
8.08.030 Powers and duties. The board shall serve in an advisory
capacity to the Kodiak island borough assembly with regard to management and
operation of the Kodiak Aieetian Island Mental Health Center. In that capacity
the board is required to:
8.08.050 Status of employees. Employees of the Kodiak Aieeatian Island
Mental Health Center shall be deemed employees of the borough for all purposes,
except that the mental health advisory board may adopt personnel rules and
regulations with respect to employees of the center.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage and
adoption.
