1985-17 Amending Title 2 ElectionsAN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
SECTIONS OF TITLE 2 OF THE BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES
RELATING TO ELECTIONS.
WHEREAS, changes in both State and local laws make
it necessary to update sections of the Borough Code relating
to election laws, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough wishes to keep
its election laws up -to -date and in compliance,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, that the following
sections of Title 2 be amended as follows:
2.04.020 Notice -- Contents.
F. The type of election, i.e., general regular or
'special;
2.04.030 Registration. The Borough clerk, before
seven /eight a.m
2.04.040 Hours of voting. The polls in each
polling place shall be open from seven /eight a.m. until
eight p.m. on election day.
2.04.160 Absentee voting -- Persons entitled to
