AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING TITLE 15,
BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION.
Section 1. Chapter 15.04 is amended as follows:
Section 15.04.010 Adoption of building and other codes. The Uniform Building
Code, 1982 Edition, adopted by the International Conference of Building Officials;

Section 15.04.070 Table 3 -A Amended.
A. The fee schedule set forth in Table 3 -A of the Uniform Building Code is hereby
amended by the addition of a new sentence below the table to read:
The building permit fee for buildings in ccupancy groups M and R, except
those in group R, Division 1, shall be 7:532 cent per square foot.

Section 2. Chapter 15.04 is amended by Addition of the following section:
Section 15.04.130 Certificate Occupancy.

A. It is unlawful to occupy or inh •it any building or structure for which a certificate
of occupancy has not been iss . by the building official as provided in this title.
B. The building official shall ssue a certificate of occupancy upon completion of each
building or structure found o be in compliance with the terms of this title and rules
adopted hereby.
C. Falsification of a rtificate of occupancy for a building or structure not in
conformity with suc . certificates shall be deemed a violation of this title.

Section 3. Cha er 15.28 is amended as follows:
