ORDINANCE NO. 83 -81 -0
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RELATING TO
TRAVEL PER DIEM FOR BOROUGH OFFICIALS AND BOROUGH EMPLOYEES.
The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly hereby ordains:
Section 1: That Chapter 2.16.040 is hereby amended to read as

2.16.040 Expense reimbursement. Borough officers and
employees, while traveling overnight on official business, and
away from their homes or designated posts of duty, may be allowed,
instead - ef - their actual exgeases- fer- subsisteaee -and- all - fees -er
tipsy - a -per- diem- allewanee- of -seven y- five- dellars- actual expense;
up to a maximum of ninety dollars ($90.00) for hotel rooms and
thirty -five dollars ($35.00) per day for meals. For partial days
of travel, when no overnight expense is necessary, meal expenses
will be broken out as follows: $8.00 breakfast, $10.00 lunch and
$17.00 dinner, for a total not to exceed the $35.00. (The Prudent
Person Rule shall apply and is essential.)
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
(passage and adoption.
