ORDINANCE NO. 83- 56 -0(A)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AMENDING
PORTIONS OF CHAPTER 17.53 OF BOROUGH CODE ON RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKS AND
CHAPTER 17.06 ON DEFINITIONS.
The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Hereby Ordains:
Section 1. That Section 1 7.53.020 of Borough Code, Definitions,
Subsectionreational Vehicle, is amended to read as follows:
A. "Recreational Vehicle" means a vehicular -type unit primarily
designed as Eemperary living quarters for recreational, camping,
use, which either has its own motive power, vehicle and does not exceed ei ht feet in width or thit or

Section 2. That Section 1 7.53.020 of Borough Code, Definitions,
Subsectioneational Vehicle Park, is amended to read as follows:
B. "Recreational Vehicle Park" means a tract of land upon which
two or more recreational vehicle spaces are located, established or main-
tained for occupancy by recreational vehicles of the general
temporary living quarters for twent

Section 3. That Section 17.53.020 of Borough Code, Definitions,
Subsectionreationai Vehicle Space, is amended to read as follows:
C. "Recreational Vehicle Space" means a plot of ground within a
recreational vehicle park intended for the accommodation of a recreational
vehicle, or other individual camping on a temporary or p e` t basis.
Section 4. That Section 17.53.040, Development Standards, Sub -
section N, eggilter, Subsection 3

Section 5. That Section 17.06.475 of Borough Code, Recreational
Vehicle, is amends and re- numbered to read as follows:
17.06.465 Recreational Vehicle. "Recreational Vehicle" means a

Section 8. That Section 17.53.040 of Borough Code, Development
Standards, ubsect on A, Density, is amended
A. Densit . The average park density shall not exceed
twenty recreational—vehicle sites per acre.
Section 9. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon passage adoption.
