AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8 OF THE BOROUGH CODE ON HEALTH AND SAFETY.
The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly hereby ordains:
Section 1. That Section 8.04.010 Created -- Membership is revised to read as
follows: There is created a hospital and health facility advisory board which
shall consist of f4ve seven borough residents. appe4Rted by the mayop sob3est
to seaf4saat4ea by the assewe4y. The mayor shall appoint five members subject
to confirmation by the assembly. In addition, the hospital chief -of -staff and
one assembly representative shall also be full voting members of the board.
The chief -of -staff shall be selected by the medical staff and the borough
assembly representative shall be selected by the assembly. The hospital
manager shall serve as an ex- officio member of the gem4994ea board and the
mayor may, with the concurrence of the assembly, appoint additional ex- officio
members. The board shall designate its chairman.
