PROVISIONS OF TITLE 13 OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE
PERTAINING TO METERS.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borou Assembl
Ordinance No. Borough Y adopted
82 -3 -0 establishing the policy for water and sewer
activities, and
WHEREAS, certain changes are needed to clarify the
operation of the water and sewer systems.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that the following changes be effected:
Sect I: Chapter 13.02, Water Systems
Section 13.02.030 Meters is hereby repealed and re- enacted
as follows:
a) The Borough shall require installation of a remote
readout water meter on any new or u raded service, for
the, purpose of measuring water supplied to the premises
by such service.

access to curb stops and water metered recorders and /or
water meters at all times
Section II: Chapter 13.03, Sewer Systems
A new Section 13.03.015 Meters is hereby added.
Section 13.03.015 Meters. All future connections to the
pressure and gravity sewers between the Mill Bay Pu
Station and the City of Kodiak Sewage Treatment Plant shall
be equipped with a continuous recording metering device

Section III: Chapter 13.01, General Regulations
A revised Section 13.01.100 Several properties supplied by
one connection is hereby adopted as follows:
A. Where water and /or sewer ... are made to the system.

as, but not limited to, mobile home parks and apartment
houses, the property owner shall receive the billing for
all units.
