ORDINANCE NO. 82 -18 -0
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH, KODIAK, ALASKA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 81 -24 -0, OF THE BOROUGH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING ON THE
IRST DAY OF JULY, 1981, AND ENDING ON THE THIRTIETH DAY OF JUNE, 1982.
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, by House Bill No. 131 (Hess) has
ncreased the provisions of Section 1. AS 29.89.030 (a)(1) and AS 29.89.030
(a)(3) which provides the state aid for health facilities and hospitals, and
WHEREAS, the amount of such aid is increased from $75,000 to $250,000
or the hospital and from $4,000 to $8,000 for each health clinic, and
WHEREAS, the amounts mentioned are further increased by a cost of
iving allowance (COLA) factor of 1.0764 (7.64 %), and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska will grant ( #52 -82) to Kodiak Island
orough the amount of $1,991,000 for the construction of a new school at
hiniak, and
WHEREAS, other adjustments as enumerated are deemed necessary for
roper budgeting and internal control.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
SLAND BOROUGH AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following sum of money, or as much thereof as may be
authorized by law, as may be needed or deemed necessary to defray all
expenses and liabilities of the Borough, be and the same, is hereby
appropriated for corporate purposes and objects of Kodiak Island Borough
for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of July, 1981, and ending
on the 30th day of June, 1982.
