AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE
AND RE
CREATION PROGRAM AND FACILITIES PLAN.
r,,n-TEREAS, Title 29 Alaska State Statutes, Chapter 33, Article 4,
;section 29.33.080 (b) (1) requires the Planning & Zoning Commission prepare
emend for adoption by the Borough Assembly a Comprehensive Plan, and;
MEWLS, in accordance with the provisions of Title 29, subsection
.;,71.085 (b), the Borough Assembly is required to adopt a Comprehensive Plan
the Borough, and;
WHEREAS, Title 29, subsection 29.33.090 (b) (6) provides for adoption
�gulations under the zoning powers of the Borough for the "Systematic"
e :e_opment of Transportation, Water, Sewer, Parks and Other Public Facilities,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Title 29, Alaska State
'72.7.1tes and Title 2 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances, the
:ring and Zoning Commission has prepared and recommended for adoption by
Borough Assembly a Comprehensive Park and Recreation Program and Facilities
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
.:,at SECTION 1 The Kodiak Island Borough Comprehensive Park and Recreatirn
prepared by the firm of Kramer, Chin and Mayo , dated November 1978, and
Winded for adoption by the Planning and Zoning Commission in Planning
l'iorling Commission Resolution #79 -1 -R, and as further amended by the
8h Assembly is hereby adopted by reference as though fully set forth in
