AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SCHEDULES RELATING TO PAY
GES AND CLASS TITLES FOR EMPLOYEES FOR KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
A4 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AND
WHEREAS, Schedule I of the Kodiak Island Borough
perso nnel Rules and Regulations, entitled "Schedule of Pay Ranges
for 40-Hour Week in Monthly and Hourly Amounts ", is hereby amended
to provide a 7 percent cost of living increase in each range for
all em ployees, and,
WHEREAS, the provisions of this ordinance of all bene-
fits hereby created shall be retroactive to and commence from
January 1, 1979.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that subject pay raises be
implemented upon passage of this ordinance, and further discussion
of merit compensation shall be incorporated within the February
to June, 1979 budget deliverations.
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Borough will
provide dependent medical coverage equal to seventy -five percent
(7570) of dependent premium charges under the medical insurance
plan effective January 1, 1979.
