AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY

p¢NDLNG SECTIONS 1207 (a), (b), and (d) OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS BY DELETION AND SUBSTI-
TUTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly of the Kodiak
Island Borough.
Section 1. That Section 1207 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Personnel Rules and Regulations are hereby amended by
deletion of Subsections (a), (b), and (d) and substitution of new
Subsections'(a), (b), and (d) to read as follows:
Delete:
(a) Complete general liability insurance coverage to
protect the Borough against any claim arising out
of a Borough employee's negligence while operating
his /her automobile on Borough business;
Substitute new Subsection (a) to read as follows:
(a) Complete general liability coverage with the
limits of $100,000 for bodily injury or death
to one person, $300,000 for bodily injury or
death to two or more persons in any one acci-
dent and $50,000 for injury or destruction to
property of others in any one accident.
Delete:
(b) Requirement that the Borough be a named insured
on the individual Borough employee's automobile
insurance policy which covers him /her while
driving on Borough business;
Substitute new Subsection (b) to read as follows:
(b) The employee shall provide the Borough with a
certificate of insurance evidencing insurance
coverage consistent with paragraph (a) above.
The policy or certificate shall reflect a
provision in or rider to the policy requiring
written notice to the Borough not less than
30 days prior to cancellation of the policy.

7 d)lete Re imbursement to the driving employee for the cost
of additional insurance coverage that protects
her while driving on Borough business and allows
the Borough to become a named insured.
Substitute a new Subsection (d) to read as follows:
(d) The employee shall be reimbursed for any additional
cost of automobile insurance as the result of
complying with this section upon presentment of a
certificate of insurance as set forth in paragraph
• (b) above and evidence of any increase in the cost
of his /her automobile insurance premium, not to
exceed $150.00 per annum.
