AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
EZONING LOTS 1 THROUGH 14, BLOCK 30, USS 2538B, EAST ADDITION
'(James Bredehop, Peter Meyburg, Helen Hall, James Eggemeyer).
i WHEREAS, Alaska Statutes 29.33.090 empowers the Borough t$
enact a Zoning Ordinance and provide for its administration, enforce-
ment and amendments, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough/has g pursuant thereto
dopted Title. 17, of its Code of Ordinanc' and Resolutions which
'provides
WHEREAS, according to the mprehensive Planning and
oning Map adopted by the Kodiak I and Borough, that Lots 1 through
/
10 and Lots 13 and 14, Block 30,, SS 25538B, East Addition have
peen zoned R -2, and
WHEREAS, a petition/ has been received from James Bredehop
Peter Meyburg, Helen Hall, Old James Eggemeyer requesting that same]
Se rezoned from R -2 to R-1/to allow for future development,
WHEREAS, the P1 and Zoning Commission in reviewing
the requested area for ,rezoning found that Lots 11 and 12 should
lso be included wit the area to be rezoned, and
WHEREAS, t e petition was considered and approved by the
lanning and Zon Commission on July 20, 1977, and said body has
ecommended the classification of Lots 1 through 14, Block 30,
SS 2538B, Ea ddition from R -2 to R -3.
NOW, EREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly
