ORDINANCE NUMBER 77 -22 -0
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
REZONING Lot 16, Block 19, KODIAK TOWNSITE TO BE DESIGNATED R -3
(Huey DeVille).
WHEREAS, Alaska Statutes 29. empowers the Borough
to enact a Zoning Ordinance and provide for its administration
enforcement and amendments, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has pursuant thereto
adopted Title 17, of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions which
provides for planning and zoning provisions and procedures, and,
i ,
WHEREAS, according to the Comprehehsive Planning and
,Zoning Map adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, that Lot 16,
Block 19, Kodiak Townsite has been zoned R -2, and
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Huey DeVille
requesting that same be rezoned from R -2 to R -3 to allow for
future development,
WHEREAS, the Petition was considered and approved by the
Planning and Zoning Commission on July 20, 1977, and said body has
ecommended the reclassification of said property from R -2 to R -3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly ofl
. Kodiak Island Borough that the property described as:

e and the same are hereby reclassified as R -3 and that notice of
he ordinance be given by publication in the KODIAK MIRROR, seven
(7) days prior to the second reading and that a public hearing be
eld thereon on the date of the second reading and that this
rdinance become effective at the time of adoption.
