SECTIONS:
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF BOROUGH
OFFICERS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough, State
of Alaska as follows:
TITLE 2. Chapter 2.10 of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code is enacted to read as follows:

APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS, COMMISSIONS
AND COMMITTEES
2.10.010 Appointment of Officers
2.10.020 Appointment of Commissions and Committees
Section 2.10.010 Appointment of Officers
The borough clerk, attorney, treasurer and manager
shall be appointed by the borough assembly. Officers serve at
the pleasure of the appointing authority.
Section 2.10.020 Appointment of Commissions and
Committees
Commission and committee members shall be appointed
by the borough executive subject to confirmation by the borough
assembly. Each commission and committee members shall designate
its presiding officer and shall meet as frequently as is
necessary. Each commission and committee members shall establish
subject to approval by the assembly, rules and regulations for
the conduct of its meetings. Meetings shall be public and
minutes shall be kept. Minutes and records shall be filed with
the municipal clerk and retained as public records.
