ORDINANCE NO. 73 -20 -0
j AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PLANNING COMMISSION.
:THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1. That Section of Sub Chapter 1 of
;Chapter 5 is hereby amended to read:
Section 1. ORGANIZATION: There is hereby created

!pursuant to AS 29.33.080 a Borough Planning Commission, which
shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Borough
Mayor subject to confirmation by the Borough Assembly. Four
members shall be residents of the City of Kodiak and three
members shall be residents of the area outside the City of
Kodiak. The members shall serve without pay. Nothing in this
section prevents the Borough Chairman from appointing
additional persons to serve in an advisory or ex- officio
j capacity. The Borough Chairman and Engineer shall serve as
ex- officio members of said Commission.
