AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMALY
REZONING A PORTION OF LOT SEVEN (7), AI, LALANDE SUBDIVISION
1IBLOCK ONE (1) FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO BUSINESS.

WHEREAS, AS 29.33.090 empowers the Borough enact
1a Zoning Ordinance and provide for its administratio

iment and amendment and,

!adopted Chapter 5 of its Code of Ordinances and/Resolutions,
which provides �
P es for planning zoning provisions and procedures, I
and
it WHEREAS, according to the Comp re ensive Planning and
,iZoning Map adopted by the Kodiak Island oroug
i h, Lot Seven (7),
!Allman LaLande Subdivision, Block One (1), has been zoned
''Unclassified, and
I� WHEREAS, a Petition has been received from RODDY &
�IBETTY YORK, stating that they are a owners of that portion
licf Lot Seven (7), Allman LaLande Subdivision, Block One (1), and

Masking that the same be rezone from Unclassified to Business.
The Planning and Zoning Comm' sion held a public hearing on

lMarch 21, 1973, and no obje tions were voiced to this rezoning, as
is contiguous t
9u o Business area; and after the Public Hearing, the
Commission determined that the public necessity, convenience and
good zoning practice rkquired the reclassification of said lots
from Unclassified too/usiness.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly
