AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 70 -4 -0, WHICH PROVIDES FOR EXEMPTIONS
FROM TAXES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 70 -4 -0 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for exemptions
from taxes for senior citizens earning less than a stated amount
of income per year, and
WHEREAS, Section 29.53.020 provides for exemptions
from taxes for residents over the age of sixty -five (65) years,
earning less than a stated amount of income per year, now
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that Chapter 3, Section 7 -1 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
Ordinances and Resolutions, as amended by Ordinance No. 70 -4 -0,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
