STATE OF WORK. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and
materials, and perform the work described in the section Scope of work
for the amount stated above in strict accordance with the General
Provisions, specifications, schedules, drawings, and conditions, all of
which are made a part hereof and designated as follows:

LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. If the Contractor fails to complete the work within
the time specified above, the Contractor agrees to pay, as liquidated
damages, the sum of $100.00 for each consecutive calendar day
thereafter, until the work is completed.
In witness whereof, the parties hereto have executed this contract as of
the date entered on the first page hereof.

INSTRUCTIONS
t, This form shall be used for contracts for construction, alteration, or repair of Borough-owrtod and/or
Borough -operated facilities.
2. The full name and business address of the Contractor must be inserted in the space provided on the face of
the form. The Contractor shall sign in the space provided above with his usual signature and typewrite or print
name under all signatures to the contract and bonds.
3. An officer of a corporation, a member of a partnership, or an agent signing for the Contractor shall place his
signature and title after the word "By" under the name of the Contractor, A contract executed by an attorney
or agent on behalf of the Contractor shall be accompanied by an authenticated copy of his power of attorney or
other evidence of his authority to act on behalf of the Contractor.

ITEM TITLE: Fencing Materials and Installation for Smokey's Metal Yard.
SUMMARY STATEMENT
Attached is a bid summary for fence materials and installation at Smokey's Metal
Yard. The fence will be constructed to limit direct access to the area containing
various metal components. It is hoped this will help eliminate unauthorized access to
the metal disposal yard. The installation of the fence is required by the Borough's
insurance company in order to maintain liability insurance coverage. Gilco
Construction, Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska is the low bidder. Recommend award the
contract for fencing material and installation at Smokey's Metal Yard to Gilco
Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $51,423.
