If your use of the existing structure on the property is different from the
previous occupant, you are required to obtain zoning compliance for your ew use
of the structure from the Kodiak Island Borough Community Development Department.
In order to issue zoning compliance, the Kodiak Island Borough Community
Development Department must review your new use to ensure that it meets the
Borough's zoning regulations, espelally the parking requirements. Please contact
this office within fifteen (15) days of the date of this letter to discuss this
situation and apply for zoning compliance for your business, if it is needed. If
we do not hear from you, we will assume that your business is not a new use for
