RE: Cost estimate for engineering services pertaining to attaching a set of roof trusses to 40'
shipping containers.
Dear Steve,
The following is my estimate for engineering assistance for truss attachment to a pair of
shipping containers at the City of Kodiak, Water Treatment Facility. Deliverables are the
calculations and details for structural components to satisfy building code requirements for
the City of Kodiak.
I work on an hourly basis and my current rate is $125.00 per hour. I estimate it will take my
shop minimum of 4 hours to design and detail the construction. This would result in a base
cost of $500.00 in engineering fees. Taxes will be added as required by law; additional costs
may be added per contract terms but are not anticipated at this time.
