KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ORDINANCE NO. FY2023-02A
AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. FY2023-02, FISCAL YEAR 2023 BUDGET, BY AMENDING BUDGETS TO
ACCOUNT FOR VARIOUS REVENUES THAT ARE OVER BUDGET, PROVIDING FOR
ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES, AND MOVING FUNDS BETWEEN PROJECTS
WHEREAS, staff requests a budget increase of $36,588 for the General Fund, Non -Profit
Kodiak Colleges and Libraries line item; and
WHEREAS, staff requests a budget increase of $24,430 for the General Fund, Animal Control
department per the Animal Control Contract No. FY2023-01; and
WHEREAS, staff requests a transfer of $45,000 from the Building and Grounds Fund to the
Peterson Elementary Roof Replacement Capital project; and
WHEREAS, staff requests to return $105,041 of unexpended money from the Tsunami Siren
Upgrades project to the Renewal and Replacement fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is NOT of permanent nature and shall NOT become a part of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: The following budget amendments are made and supplemental appropriations are
approved:
