RESOLUTION NO. FY2022-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH Approving A
Three -Year Extension Of The Contract And Appointing The Borough Attorney
WHEREAS, KIBC 2.65.020 states that the Assembly shall appoint the borough attorney by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the current contract with Keene & Currall, PPC is for an initial three-year term which
expires November 29, 2021, and provides renewal for up to three additional one-year extensions
at the Assembly's option; and
WHEREAS, the assembly desires to amend the contract to extend it for three years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that this resolution names Scott Brandt -Erichsen of Keene & Currall, PPC as borough
attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH that:
the interim borough manager is hereby authorized to execute a three-year extension of the
contract with Keene & Currall, PPC.
