This change order is for the added cost to adjust the layout and elevation of the new septic system. During excavation areas of solid rock were discovered, requiring the septic tank to be raised and the piping layout to be adjusted. There were added costs to do some exploratory excavation to determine the extent of solid rock and to raise the septic tank which had already been placed per the original design. This cost will be deducted from the Construction line of the budget, which has sufficient funds. A copy of the current budget is attached.
