ORDINANCE NO. FY2021-01G
AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. FY2021-01, FY2021 BUDGET, PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL
EXPENDITURES
WHEREAS, the assembly acknowledges the Womens Bay Community Council efforts to
secure a grant to improve the playground equipment on Borough land within the Sargent Creek
Park; and
WHEREAS, the wishes to match that grant with non-profit funding to Womens Bay Community
Council in the amount of $1,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that:
Section 1: This ordinance is NOT of permanent nature and shall NOT become a part of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: Use General Fund - Parks and Recreation funds to make a non-profit distribution
of $1,000 to Womens Bay Community Council.
Section 3: The amounts listed in sections 2 of this ordinance are hereby appropriated for the
purposes stated. Previous appropriations remain in effect.
Effective Date: This ordinance takes effect upon adoption.
