RESOLUTION NO. FY2021-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH SETTING NEW
STIPEND AMOUNTS FOR FIRE PROTECTION AREA NO. 1 (BAYSIDE FIRE)
WHEREAS, Bayside and Borough staff and elected have worked to revise the stipend amounts;
and
WHEREAS, the amounts and structure reflect the desire for an incentivized system for
volunteers; and
WHEREAS, Adequate funds have been allocated for this fiscal year and the Board of Fire
Protection Area No.1 are prepared to budget for the ongoing costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that
Section 1: A revised Stipend table, attached and made part hereof as Attachment A, Stipends
for Bayside Volunteers, is adopted for use.
