FY2021-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ESTABLISHING BY MAIL PRECINCTS WHERE THE VOTER TURNOUT WAS LESS THAN ONE HUNDRED (100) VOTERS AT THE LAST REGULAR ELECTION FOR THE OCTOBER 6, 2020, REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION. WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly finds that the public health objectives of limiting in person contact in response to the current pandemic may deter some voters from voting in person at their designated polling site. WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly adopted 7.30.020(C) Precincts and Polling Placings, by mail precincts for precincts where the voter turnout was less than one hundred (100) voters at the last regular election; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT the Kodiak Island Borough establishes by mail precincts where the voter turnout was less than one hundred (100) voters at the last regular election, for the Regular Municipal Election on October 6, 2020.
