I CALL TO ORDER
Deputy Mayor Peotter called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. in
the Borough Conference Room.

Mr. Murray Mr. Wakefield
Mr. White
Deputy Mayor Peotter
A quorum was established.
III BUSINESS ITEM
1. Res. No. 83-128-R Ratifying and Confirming The Results Of The
October 4, 1983 Regular Election.
Mr. Murray moved to accept the Clerk's recommendation to count the
nine (9) Challenged ballots, twenty-eight (28) Questioned ballots
and seventy-eight (78) ballots which were determined to be valid
ballots, also to count the one (1) ballot that is a registered
voter but was put in the wrong precinct by the State, but to throw
out the twenty-two (22) Questioned ballots, to throw out the four
(4) Challenged ballots and finally to throw out the one (1)
Absentee ballot. Seconded by Mr. White. Motion carried by
unanimous roll call vote.
The Assembly opened and counted the valid questioned, challenged
and absentee ballots.
Mr. Murray moved to adopt Resolution No. 83-128-R Ratifying and
Confirming The Results Of The October 4, 1983 Regular Election.
Seconded by Mr. Arndt. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
The Clerk swore the following candidates into office:
Jerome Selby - Borough Mayor
Ann Barker - Assemblywoman
Edward Naughton - Assemblyman
Horace Simmons - Fire Protection Area #1 Advisory Board
IV ADJOURNMENT
Deputy Mayor Peotter adjourned the meeting.
