KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH SPECIAL ASSEMBLY MEETING - APRIL 30, 1982

I CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Herrnsteen called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. in the
Borough Assembly Chambers.

Mr. Anderson
Mr. Arndt
Mr. Beaty
Mr. Murray
Mr. Peotter
Mr. Wakefield
Mr. White
A quorum was established.
III ITEMS OF BUSINESS
1. To determine the total amount of money to be made available
from local sources for school purposes for FY 83.
Mr. Peotter moved to approve the total budget of the Kodiak Island
Borough School District and to appropriate the sum of $1,386,823 as
the Kodiak Island Borough appropriation for school operations for
fiscal year 1983. Seconded by Mr. White.
Mr. Murray moved to amend Mr. Peotter's motion by changing the word
"approve" to acknowledge receipt of in the first sentence.
Seconded by Mr. Arndt. Amendment failed 2-5 with Mr. Arndt and Mr.
Murray casting the YES votes.
Main motion carried 6-1 with Mr. Beaty casting the NO vote.
2. Consider a Resolution Concerning the Share Quota System Of
Allocating Fisheries Resources.
Mr. Murray moved to adopt Resolution No. 82.-38-R. Seconded by Mr.
White. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
IV ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Herrnsteen adjourned the meeting at 8:10 PM.
