RESOLUTION NO. FY2020-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ACCEPTING
CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,792,501 FROM THE ALASKA
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
(HEREINAFTER "DEPARTMENT") FOR COSTS THAT ARE FOR NECESSARY
EXPENDITURES INCURRED DUE TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY WITH RESPECT
TO THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough wishes to provide the above described funds for the
community of Kodiak Island Borough; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH agrees to accept the Coronavirus Relief Funds from the Department and to comply
with the conditions in the Grant Agreement between the Kodiak Island Borough and the
Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Borough Manager is authorized to execute all necessary
documents and agreements to accomplish the use of funds.
ADOPTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
THIS FOURTH DAY OF JUNE, 2020.
