FY2019-01C AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. FY2019-01, FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET, BY AMENDING BUDGETS TO ACCOUNT FOR VARIOUS REVENUES THAT ARE OVER BUDGET, PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES AND MOVING FUNDS BETWEEN PROJECTS. WHEREAS, the original budget included $30,000 of Commercial Passenger Vessel Tax (CPV) revenue going to the Tourism and Development fund, and now that a new special revenue fund was established to track the collection and use of Commercial Passenger Vessel Tax revenues, staff requests reallocating the budgeted revenue to the new fund; and WHEREAS, due to revenues received in excess of what was budgeted, staff requests a $12,753 increase in budgeted revenues for the Commercial Passenger Vessel Tax (CPV) fund; and WHEREAS, staff is requesting the transfer of $200,000 from the General Fund - Finance/MIS department to the Capital Project fund, CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal)/Collection Software Upgrade project; and WHEREAS, Fire Protection Area #1 request a transfer of $40,000 to the Capital Project fund, Diesel Exhaust Venting System project; and WHEREAS, Fire Protection Area #1 requests a transfer of $25,000 $60,000 to the Capital Projects fund, Paving project; and WHEREAS, Fire Protection Area #1 requests a transfer of $60,000 $25,000 to the Capital Projects fund, Exterior Facility Improvements project; and WHEREAS, Womens Bay Fire Department requests a transfer of $25,000 to the Capital Projects fund, Kitchen Remodel project; and WHEREAS, staff requests a transfer of $28.000 from the Solid Waste Collection & WHEREAS, Assembly requests a transfer of $25,200 from the General Fund — Community Development department to the Capital Project Fund 410, Junk Car Removal project. Section 2: Fund 277 Tourism & Development will decrease budgeted revenues by $30,000 and Fund 278 Commercial Passenger Vessel Tax fund will increase budgeted revenues by $30,000. Section 3: Fund 278 Commercial Passenger Vessel Tax fund will increase by $12,753. Section 4: Fund 100-125 Finance/MIS will transfer $200,000 to Capital Project Fund 410 — Borough, project #19008 - CAMA/Collection Software Upgrade. Section 5: Fund 250 Fire Protection Area #1 will transfer $40,000 to the Capital Project Fund 450, project #19006 — Diesel Exhaust Venting System. Section 6: Fund 250 Fire Protection Area #1 will transfer $25,000 to the Capital Project Fund 450, project #19009 — Exterior Facility Improvements. Section 7: Fund 250 Fire Protection Area #1 will transfer $60,000 to the Capital Project Fund 450, project #19010 — Paving. Section 8: Fund 252 Womens Bay Fire Department will transfer $25,000 to the Capital Project Fund 450, project #19011 — Kitchen Remodel. Section 9: Fund 530 Solid Waste Collection & Disposal will transfer $28,000 to the Capital Proiect Fund 490. proiect #19012 — Leachate Aeration. Section 10: Fund 100-140 Communitv Development will transfer $25.200 to the Capital Effective Date: This ordinance takes effect upon adoption.
