EXECUTIVE SESSION - Discuss the Result of the Clerk Applicants Skype Interview and Discuss Those Who Should Move Forward for Final Review. 4. Recommended motion: Move to excuse Assembly member who is absent due to personal leave. VOICE VOTE ON MOTION. CITIZENS' COMMENTS (These are limited to three minutes per speaker.) ASK SPEAKERS TO SIGN IN AND STATE THEIR NAME FOR THE RECORD. CONSIDERATION OF MATTERS IN THE CALL FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING A. EXECUTIVE SESSION — Discuss the Result of the Clerk Applicats Skype Interview and Discuss Those Who Should Move Forward for Final Review. Recommended motion: Move to convene into executive session to discuss the result of the Borough Clerk Applicants Skype Interviews and discuss those who should move forward for final review. This subject qualifies for executive session as a matter that may tend to prejudice the applicants' reputation or character. ROLL CALL VOTE ON MOTION. Recommended motion: Move to invite the Borough Mayor, Assembly, Human Resource Officer, and into executive session. ROLL CALL VOTE ON MOTION. After the vote, Mayor Rohrer recesses the special meeting and convenes the executive session. Note: No action can be taken during executive session except to instruct staff. Upon returning from the executive session, Mayor Rohrer reconvenes the special meeting and announces: • The Assembly discussed the qualifications of applicants for the Borough Clerk's Position and Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Guidelines February 12, 2019 Page 1 • No action is to be taken as a result of the executive session The Assembly may make a motion if necessary. The Next Regular Meeting Of The Borough Assembly Is Scheduled On Thursday, February 21, 2019, At 6:30 p.m. In The Borough Assembly Chambers. CONVENED Into Executive Session To Discuss The Result Of The Clerk Applicants Skype Interview And Discuss Those Who Should Move Forward For Final Review A Matter Which Might Include A Discussion That Could Potentially Prejudice The Reputation And Character Of The Applicants; INVITED The Borough Mayor, Assembly and Borough Manager, HR Officer, and Borough Clerk In Executive Session; And ANNOUNCED That The Mayor And Human Resource Officer Will Be Contacting Three Candidates To Arrange To Bring Them Forward To Kodiak For In-Person Interviews On The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Or 5th Of March At Some Place In That Window And Will Report Back To The Assembly At The Next Meeting In Regards To The Actual Scheduling.
