AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING THE
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES TITLE 8 HEALTH AND SAFETY,
CHAPTER 8.25 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL, BY REPEALING
UNENFORCEABLE SECTION 8.25.090 BILLING AND COLLECTIONS SUBSECTION
D LIENS
WHEREAS, the existing Solid Waste Collection and Disposal code was put in place in 2010;
and
WHEREAS, staff determined it was necessary to repeal section 8.25.090 subsection D due to
this section no longer being valid and is legally unenforceable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a part of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances; and
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances Title 8 Health and Safety, Chapter
8.25 Solid Waste and Collection and Disposal is hereby amended by repealing unenforceable
Section 8.25.090 Billing and Collections Subsection D Liens., section 090 Billing and collection,
subsection D as follows:
