RESOLUTION NO. FY2018-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CONVEYING
TAX FORECLOSED PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF OUZINKIE AS PROVIDED IN
AS 29.45.450
WHEREAS, a certain land parcel within the City of Ouzinkie was foreclosed on for delinquent
real property taxes; and
WHEREAS, this certain land parcel was deeded to the Kodiak Island Borough by the Superior
Court of the State of Alaska by Clerk's Deed dated February 12, 2018, recorded in the Kodiak
Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska 2018-000359-0; and
WHEREAS, Lot 10 Block 2, Tract "A", Ouzinkie Townsite, United States Survey No. 4871,
according to Plat No. 72-1, located in the municipal boundary of the City of Ouzinkie was
foreclosed on for delinquent real property taxes; and
WHEREAS, AS 29.45.450 provides that an unredeemed tax foreclosed property lying within a
city are to be deeded to that city subject to payment of the unpaid borough taxes and costs of
foreclosure levied against the property by the city receiving the property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that the above tax foreclosed parcel be deeded to the City of Ouzinkie upon receipt
of payment for the outstanding borough taxes and foreclosure costs in the amount of $2,905.96.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH that
ADOPTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
