Proposed action does not reduce available required off-street parking. Per KIBC 17.150.040.A.1 and Tablel, decks are structures that
may project into a side yard setback provided they are not roofed or enclosed and that a 36" path to the rear yard is maintained either
under, over, or beside the deck and building code separations are maintained. Applicant states that such a path will be maintained
under the deck. Building Department will ensure separations between structures are maintained during Building Permit issuance.
