We, the undersigned officers of the Petersburg Borough (the "Borough"), a
municipal corporation of the State of Alaska, HEREBY CERTIFY that the $670,000
Service Area 1 General Obligation Refunding Bond, 2016 Series A, the $520,000
Service Area 1 General Obligation Refunding Bond, 2016 Series B, the $1,205,000
General Obligation School Bond, 2007 Series A and the $1,185,000 General Obligation
Refunding Bond, 2007 Series B (together, the "Bonds"), were duly and completely
signed on behalf of the Borough by the execution thereon of the signature of the
undersigned Mark Jensen, Mayor of the Borough, and duly and completely attested by
the execution thereon of the signature of the undersigned Debra Thompson, Borough
Clerk of the Borough.
We further certify that the signatures subscribed below are the true and genuine
signatures of said officers respectively.
We further certify:
(a) that on the date of execution of the Bonds, and on the date hereof, the
undersigned were and are the duly elected or appointed, qualified and acting officers of
said Borough authorized to execute the Bonds, holding the respective offices indicated
by the official titles set beneath said signatures below; and
(b) that the seal which is impressed upon this certificate has been impressed
on the Bonds and is the official seal of the Petersburg Borough, Alaska.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have executed this certificate and caused the seal
of the Petersburg Borough to be impressed hereon this 3rd day of November, 2016.
