Notice of Defeasance*
City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska
General Obligation School Bonds, 2006B
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the owners of the above captioned bonds with respect
to which, pursuant to an Escrow Agreement dated November 3, 2016, by and between the City
and Borough of Juneau, Alaska (the "City and Borough") and The Bank of New York Mellon
Trust Company, N.A. (the "Escrow Agent"), the City and Borough has deposited into an escrow
account, held by the Escrow Agent, cash and non-callable direct obligations of the United States
of America, the principal of and interest on which, when due, will provide money to pay on the
dates listed below the principal thereof and interest on the bonds described below (the "Refunded
Bonds"). Such Refunded Bonds are therefore deemed to be no longer outstanding pursuant to
Ordinance Serial No. 2006-24, authorizing the Refunded Bonds, but will be paid by application
of the assets in such escrow.
