I understand that you will be off island starting tomorrow until the 20th or so. I also understand that you
dropped off checks for Building Permit fees with the Building Department. I wanted to make sure we also have
the bases covered for Zoning Compliance Permits. You had mentioned that you were intending to give Marty
agent authorization for signing Zoning Compliance Permits related to the warehouse construction on Lots 1 and
3 in your absence (since the property owner or their authorized agent must sign those permits). I wanted to
follow up on that and ask that you send an email authorizing him (or whomever you see fit) as your agent
before you depart. Wording the email as follows will suffice:
I, Anne Kalcic, authorize Marty Belarde (or other agent's name) to act as my agent with regard to
signing Zoning Compliance permits for the construction of warehouses on Lots 1 and 3, Sunnyside
Subdivision.
There will also be a $30 fee per permit, so you may want to provide Marty with checks for payment of those
fees prior to your departure.
