Description of Proposed Action: Demolition of existing SFR(double-wide mobile home)and after-the-fact permitting of the conver-
sion of an 18'x 40' portion at rear of existing 50'x 40'accessory building to a single-family residence as depicted on attached site plan.
This action will convert the existing accessory building to a single-family residence with attached garage/shop. This action will not alter
the foot print of the existing building.

Plat/Subdivision Requirements? The existing accessory building subject to this permit does not meet the current 25'front yard
setback requirement for R2 zoning(building is approximately 17'to 18'from front property line). Per letter from previous CDD Director,
William Dalton,dated September 13, 1983(attached),the placing of the building 17'to 18'from the property was"entirely legal"due to
Chapter 17.51 KIBC(Accessory Building code in effect at time of construction)did not mention front yard setbacks.
