Brechan Enterprises, Inc., requests permits for disposal of non-toxic solid
wastes at the Kodiak Solid Waste Disposal site, and at the Kodiak Auto Wrecking
disposal site.
We currently have a contract with the U.S. Coast Guard to build a new Ready Crew
Berthing Facility, and Energy Retrofit To Hanger 1. The wastes generated by
these two jobs will be in the nature of: 1) Those from new construction -
pallets, packing crates, waste lumber etc.; 2) from the demo of the hangar one
roof such as - used lumber and metal roofing (no asbestos or toxic wastes). We
intend to dispose of all metal material at the KOdiak Auto Wrecking site, and
all other wastes at the Kodiak Solid Waste Disposal site.

Re: Request for Solid Waste Disposal Permit
Dear Cal:
This letter is in response to your October 28, 1985 request for a permit to
dispose of non-toxic solid waste at the following authorized dump sites:
Kodiak Solid Waste Disposal and Kodiak Auto Wrecking.
Please be advised that Borough Codes do no provide a mechanism for the
issuance of disposal permits. Title 17 (Zoning) regulates land use and both
dump sites are authorized to receive the type of solid waste identified in
your letter. It is suggested that you contact the operators of these sites
for details of dumping: Mr. Bill Bulen, Kodiak Sanitation and Mr. Ed Coe,
Kodiak Auto Wrecking.
