you about a greenhouse built into the front yard setback at the above-mentioned address.
Although the greenhouse has been partially disassembled, the building still remains
standing in its original location. According to Kodiak Island Borough Code section
17.40 "Projections into Required Yards", accessory buildings, like the greenhouse, are
not allowed to be in the front yard setback. Therefore, the greenhouse must be either
moved to a legal location or torn down.

It has recently come to my attention that the above-mentioned property has a greenhouse
built into the front yard setback. According to Kodiak Island Borough Code section
17.40 "Projections into Required Yards", accessory buildings, like the greenhouse, are
not allowed to be in the front yard setback. Therefore, the greenhouse must be either
moved to a legal location or torn down. In addition, if the greenhouse is larger than 120
square feet, a building and zoning compliance permit must be obtained.
Please provide a copy of this letter to the current occupant of 2378 Beaver Lake Loop for
